Paediatric First Aid Courses – Ofsted and HSE Compliant

From minor grazes to dealing with a choking incident on a child, it is vital to have the skills and confidence to manage any paediatric first aid situation.

Here at Optimal Training, we know that choosing the right course for your requirements can be confusing, so here is our explanation on the two courses we can deliver for you.

The one-day emergency paediatric first aid course meets the requirements of the Early Years foundation stage statutory framework. The course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by professionals, including teachers, au pairs and playgroup leaders, looking after young children.

The two-day paediatric course meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the Approved Carers Scheme. It can also be used as portfolio evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.

The trainers that provide these courses are fully qualified in both experience in childcare, first aid and training.
