This half day defibrillator training course will provide you with an extra skill of knowledge in the event of an emergency. Basic life support and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator is recommended training for first aiders in the workplace environment who have access to an automated external defibrillator. This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to take further training or to develop their knowledge and skills in this basic life support. Defibrillator training is recommended for first-aiders in the workplace and is also suitable for schoolchildren, as recommended by The Resuscitation Council (UK).

This course is most suited to:
Designed for those who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support when dealing with an emergency situation which may involve using an AED.

- Duration: 4hours guided learning – over 1/2 a day (excluding breaks)
